PriDoc is a fully comprehensive software application that facilitates many of the management functions that take place in General Practice, including (amongst others) recruitment, personnel, rotas and payroll. The general idea is that everything is ‘integrated’ – so that, for example, basic shift patterns that are entered as part of the details of a new recruitment will automatically populate the successful applicant's contract of employment and the Rotas. Holidays, overtime, sick leave, maternity leave etc. are entered into the Scheduler which, together with the Rotas information and the Pay details held in the Personnel module, are then all fed into the Payroll module. The Practice Payroll is thus managed directly from the Scheduler and Personnel modules (powerful tools in their own right), rather than as a separate process.
There is also a further related module included in the System, namely: Communications.
All of the modules use information that is
common to many of them, and by entering this information into the System only once,
the time-
PriDoc has also been designed to cater for these specific, often complex situations:

Where two or more Practices are working together, each Practice can be set up independently with it’s own Partners, Staff, etc. Staff and other costs can then be allocated in any desired proportions between the Practices.

Any number of Branch Sites can be specified, allowing Staff shifts for example to be allocated appropriately.
• Multi-
Employees can have more than one job (e.g. a Practice Nurse does some shifts as a secretary). PriDoc allows you to enter the separate job details for any employee, each with its own job description, pay rate, shift pattern etc. The system will check that the two (or more!) shift patterns never conflict, and it will combine the two (or more!) holiday allowances etc.
