Primarily a tool for managing staff rotas, the Scheduler provides an extremely  powerful facility to plan and view staff cover for the week/month/year. Each employee's standard shifts, as entered in the Personnel Module, are represented by coloured bars in the daily, monthly and annual ‘planner’ views.

Overtime, sickness, maternity/paternity/adoption, holiday, training, other authorised, unauthorised and ‘TOIL’ absence are also represented in – and editable from – the 3 ‘planner’ views, which can easily be filtered to show any desired group of employees and/or Partners (e.g. Main reception, Back office, Branch surgery, Practice quiz team, etc.).

As overtime is entered there is the facility to enter an ‘hourly rate multiplier’ (e.g. 2 for double time, etc.), and a budget, and a Site or Practice (in the case of multi-site or multi-Practice organisations).  All this information is then fully integrated with the Payroll Module.

Partners' rotas and holidays and other absences, and the scheduling of meetings and training courses, can all be accommodated within the same daily, monthly and annual ‘planner’ views, and locum session can also be added directly.

The Scheduler Module thus provides a single, easy-to-use graphical ‘planner' for all Staff and Partners that is available at each workstation.
